With 34 companies and 21 sales offices all over the world, Hansgrohe is one of the few global players in the sanitation industry. During the 2016 financial year, Hansgrohe employed around 4,800 people and supplied products to more than 140 countries. Incidentally, the Hansgrohe Group comprises the brands “hansgrohe” and “AXOR”.
Building a future on tradition
Tap and shower specialist Hansgrohe is a company steeped in tradition. Founder Hans Grohe started out small in 1901, with a metal pressing workshop in Schiltach in the Black Forest. The creative hub and the company headquarters are still based there. But today, the hansgrohe brand that “Clever Hans” created enjoys a worldwide reputation: the products are used and popular the world over.
Innovative Technologies from Hansgrohe
Below are some of the Axor Hansgrohe developed technologies to improve your lifestyle.
Select a jet type or shower in just one click, for even more showering fun: this is the operating philosophy of convenience that lies behind Hansgrohes Select button. The company introduced operation at the touch of a button to the world of bathrooms with this innovation – and was one of the first in the industry to do so.
Calciferous water, dirt, cleaning agents: mixers and showers need to withstand quite a bit. With the QuickClean technology from Hansgrohe, you can remove limescale in an instant. Since Hansgrohe has fitted its mixer aerators and shower jets with flexible silicon jets, dirt and limescale can be rubbed off easily. Another plus: products that are limescale-free and well-maintained remain attractive and in good working order for longer.
Climate protection starts with showering and an ecological approach to hand washing. As a champion of the value of water, Hansgrohe assumes a pioneering role in dealing with this precious resource. Hansgrohe mixers and showers, which are fitted with EcoSmart technology, require up to 60% less water than conventional products. Lower hot water consumption means a lower energy requirement. And that means: fewer CO2 emissions and lower costs.
Hansgrohes CoolStart technology means that only cold water will flow out when set to the middle position. Whereas in standard mixers the continuous flow heaters or circulation pump start up immediately when in the middle position, in CoolStart mixers the piping system does not fill up unnecessarily with hot water. When you move the lever to the left, hot water is added. You decide how high the temperature needs to be. It is not possible to move the lever to the right.
Hansgrohe mixers with the “ComfortZone” feature guarantee comfort and convenience at the wash basin or sink. The Hansgrohe innovators and designers have done a great job in designing these. The models are of a generous size, their technology and construction is elaborate and their design outstanding. Experience the new level of spaciousness in the bathroom, and enjoy the freedom and space to design your ComfortZone just as you want it.
This will permanently inspire you: Hansgrohes AirPower technology will improve your showering pleasure while reducing your water requirement. That is unless you don’t want to get out of the shower because you’re having too much fun. Because air is plentiful, but precious water is not, the Hansgrohe innovators have invented something ground-breaking in their own spray laboratory: AirPower. That means: having fun and conserving resources at the same time.
